Timothy Kimani, Content Creator: As a young person, we have a lot to worry about. There is no hope that inspires the young people. I was quite ashamed to hear 2 or 3 parliamentarians saying they have not read the Finance Bill. One said why would you make noise of something haikuhusu? We don’t have hope because we keep adding on to the debts we have. My worry is will I see money budgeted to be able to facilitate my production or it’s just taxing and taxing?

Devolution killed this country when it was enacted. Most of the revenue collected goes to governors, senators , women reps , cs’s salaries, and the rest to corruption. In this country we need one governor and two senators, and scrap positions like women reps, a state like California has one governor and two senators with 52 government representatives with a population of 39.03 million . You are not serious. Do your research and you will find that devolution is not the problem but a solution to equitable development. Corruption is the main problem and living on big money that we don't have. California has one governor so, does every county in Kenya. Every county in Kenya is equivalent to a State in the USA. Every state in the USA has two senators, but in Kenya, every county has one senator. In the USA they have 400 members in the House of Representatives who are not evenly representing 50 states. The issue here is not about representation, but productivity and accountability in using country resources.
