No, the rifle guards remain at the point where the team rendered honors. This is an honor guard sequence and not based on any of the service drill and ceremonies manuals.

Isn't one of the two in the middle suppose to be holding the American flag?

The American NEVER marches in the middle, ALWAYS on the marching right. This is training and I do not train with the American flag.
