JKOO/ SINOSWORD 15th Anniversary sword unboxing

My first impression of the JKOO/SINOSWORD special edition Katana. The company made 15 swords to celebrate their 15th anniversary.

Shoot I missed out on that...looks like a nice buy...they would not normally put that much work into a 99usd sword but since it was 15th ann. you got lucky..awesome would love to see it cut...im waiting on 2 orders from them maybe by December if I'm lucky...Great company..thanks for sharing

Nice sword dude. Especially for $99. I like unboxing videos personally. Seeing somebody's reaction upon opening and seeing for the first time always says a lot about a sword. Looking forward to seeing her in action....

Thanks. The $99 was a special price and is not reflective of what something like this would normally sell for on the regular market. I think they were looking at recovering some of the cost of materials, but mainly they made these as a promotion for the company and as a celebration for their anniversary. Overall, it's a well crafted sword. Definitely a lot of attention to detail. I will know more when I take it out and use it. Keeping an open mind, it may be a dog when it comes to cutting, if so, then I will call it like it is. Worst case scenario, it will look good on display.

Nice vid, I was lucky to get one of the 15 swords and now are waiting for it to be shipped. Altho due to COVID it might be some time until it can be let it in, meanwhile seeing any glimpse of the swords just turns up the anticipation. I think they said the steel is 1095 so hoping cardboard boxes won't damage the edge even though a lot of people say they are the worst to use as cutting material. Anyway congrats on getting #1 I cannot wait for mine to get to me! and looking forward to its performance as a cutter.
