If we take market price to calculate output of an economy there might be increase of indirect taxes which will show increased output..which doesn't mean production of goods and services increased.. So for growth purposes we capture GDP at factore cost!!🙏 After this another issue is inflation which will show increased output/income ..If we adjust inflation then it's real GDP otherwise nominal..

Asalaamalikum sir I’m little bit confused you said about factor income and payments in gdp while as I have read from somewhere As GDP is limited to the domestic territory, it does not consider factor incomes from abroad or factor payments made abroad.

GDP.... In it we take the value of goods and services which are produced within geographical boundry .... Who ever is the producer of goods and services they could be individual, business man, govt and private company and forign companies and individuals within that boundry... Whre as GNp we add income from abroad and deduct income to abroad..
