JL Audio TW3 Thin-Line Subwoofer Product Spotlight

I have had JL Audio subs for over 25 years. W-7’s, W-6’s primarily and a some W-3’s. I was very skeptical of the TW-3 but decided to give them a try since I was building a new system for my sons truck and was very limited on room. I know JL makes outstanding products so I ordered 10TW-3’s and built a box to meet their specs and all I can say is WOW!!! Was very impressed and blown away by these woofers. Super accurate and very hard hitting on all ranges of music and frequencies. No longer a skeptic and would definitely use them in the my next project.

I stumbled across these while looking for a new sub for my small truck. I'm coming from 2- 12 kicker comp cvr (old ones) 600w each with a 1200 watt amp. Blew that amp after years and ran those with a rockford fosgate punch p300x1. My plan is to run that amp with the 10" jl tw3.

I’m born and raised in Hollywood, and been rockin with JL Since the late 90’s. Can you all build a different stealth box for the 2015-2020 Yukon? Somewhere in the rear cargo hatch like your done for the Jeep?

While we have not plans for an updated Yukon Stealthbox, we're always working on new products and tech - who knows what the future may hold!

Although I do not have the current offering Stealthbox (hidden beneath the center console) for the Yukon, I just would think I’d prefer sound form my subs from the rear of the vehicle? Unfortunately, I cannot demo it to say it would suffice…nor do I know anyone with this set-up. Thanks for your response. Not too many authorized dealers out here in Texas near our military bases unfortunately.

How you think this 10tw3 would handle in my infiniti doors? enough mounting depth replacing the stock woofers, but what about free air resistance no enclosure? If I tuned it to hit above say 65hz how would it sound u guys think

@@JLAudioInc You guys should really consider developing a new 8’ midbass component woofer 😄 Me and a lot of other people really miss that shallow mount 8’ that you can put in your doors. The ZR800CW was so dope Holy grail to find these days… morel and focal have options 👀 but i like to stay true to ALL JL AUDIOOO

Hey Team JL-I have used a 500/1v2 with a 12W6v2 in the past and now I’m using an HD750/1 to play two 10W3v3s If I get rid of those two 10s and I wish to realize a difference in the sound of my bass, what sub/subs would you recommend I try with that HD750/1 ?

Can these be used effectively in a down firing enclosure with a passive radiator?

We do not have proper calculations or suggestions for passive radiator. A standard vented enclosure would be most predicatble.
