Miguel do those pods come with a metal bracket for the inside? For support? I want to get them but cannot find what I need for the inside of the ski. Thanks

No you have to get some aluminum from Home depot, cut the plates to about a 3" plate and then drill the holes.

Did the controller at the bottom of the handle bars with the (volume controls/skip/pause) come with the speakers? Or did you buy it separately?

You should be ok. That amp is very efficient.

Nice setup! Did you have to buy soecisl brackets to mount the speakers to the ski?

Just made them off of aluminum sheet metal and used stainless hardware to bolt it up. Make sure the screws go into the hull, not just the plastic. Then place the brackets inside the hull with washers.

I dont hve the ski anymore, but the new owner has had no issues.

The VEX pods come with the blue LED. You need the marine amp, marine tin lined amp wiring, and a power switch.

There is no sub. Just the VEX pods. Havent found a place to mount it.

Yes it is. 4 gauge power and ground all the way to the amp.

how did you wire the LEDs to turn on/off with the source unit? thanks!

All you do is wire them to the remote turn on from the preamp. It carries a 12V signal.

You install them on the side, then run bolts through the hull and secure using an aluminum plate on the inside.

@@SargeISF I have a 2019 FX SVHO getting the JL M6 vex pods installed next week. i choose not to have the Sub installed. In your opinion is it nice enough without the sub and you just want more or no the sub is pretty necessary?

I purchased the surface mounting adaptors for the vex pods from JL Audio, then ran 3-4" bolts, washers, and locking nuts into the hull from the outside panel.

George for us to install? To be honest, I wouldnt even know. But depends on the installer, and their abilities..I would say 3-4 hours of labor.

I have an aftermarket intake, so the bracket where the stock airbox is empty. I just mocked up an amp rack, and mounted it there.
