The rugged ridge one is total garbage. My phone flies of when off roading. Eventually took it off. How are you liking this one now.

67 designs is money... no problems at all... but they are pricey... if looking for something similar... but 1/2 price... look into bulletpoint mounting solutions.

They seem great, if they ever had anything in stock. Every week they tell me they restock and sell out the same day. I'm tempted to just by the Amazon imitation version for about 1/3 the price and see how long it last.

Love this mount, no complaints aside from the price... If ur on the same boat... I’d suggest looking at bulletproof mounting solutions... they have a similar mount for about 1/2 the cost

Considering this one. Have the RR one you were talking about, actually like it. It doesn't obstruct view like you think it would. BUUUT.... I have a larger phone with a case, and it doesn't fit as snug as I'd like. So, I may re-visit this option. Great video as always, bro!👍💪👊

It looks like a copy of the ram mount. I’ve used ram mounts for years they’re awesome. I’ve used them in all my cars, jeep, motorcycle, 4 wheelers.

JL LIFE OFFROAD i did i meant like if it still gonna hold up , i had a simillar one in my truck and it was great but after a while the threads were you tighten it by that little ball start getting loose and messed up and drops .

4 months ago.. I’d totally agree... freaking $85!?!? Hahaha no way! No how! It was not until after I added up all the cheap mounts I’ve bought... used... broke and trashed... I decided to give it a buy... love it But this is totally something u wouldn’t want to spend ur own money on... but will absolutely love it once u have it! Thanks for watching friend!

This is Jennifer. I just happen to be logged in to John's KZbin. Do you use the holder just for it's purpose as just a phone holder or do you record video with it while driving on/off-road?

Hmmm.... Iv rotated it to landscape before to dialogue with the camera while driving and works great for tht...but every time Iv hit an obstacle... it’s always been in portrait mode... filming those parts it’s either the go pro mounted outside of the jeep... or someone recording... I mean the mount can rotate to a lot of positions... and get a lot of angles... does tht answer ur question? I mean it will absolutely crush what John uses now in his Jeep lol

john lopes I’ve tried a couple of times to record video with my phone in the 67d mount but I find it to be too shaky for video. Other than that it’s a great mount.

It don’t look to good either.... This one is pretty solid... there a cheaper option Iv found tht is pretty similar to 67d.... but need 2 hands to put it in... bulletproof mounting solutions... hardest thing about 67d was the $100 price tag lol
