Good first inspection and tune. Just got my Cheetah one week ago, i've only waterproofed the electronics with Conformal Coating, next will be the adjustments you've shared with us. The only problem with my Cheetah is that is getting too hot and shuts down, and this after only 10 min drive with the original Battery. Don't know what else to check, mesh gears are set up properly.

Thanks. Hmm, I never hat overheating issues. I assume, your ESC did not like the conformal coating. I also had this issue in a different vehicle. However, if you push it hard, the battery will be exhausted after 10 min anyway. Are you sure, it is thermal related?

@@TheDIYGuy999 don't think is the conformal coating ( is Sylicone, not acrylic). Didn't cover the transistors and i've used a quality thermal pad for the radiator. The motor is getting hot, can't touch it at all. Checked the pinion and mesh gear, there is play between them, so it is not tight. Ordered a radiator and fan for the motor, i will see if it will overheat again. Thank you for your quick answer!

Broke a directional linkage about 10 mins in to my first run. Will make sure I align my wheels when I install the new one

Super glued and hot glued the cracked tie rod end link lol still holding up a few runs later... have metal tie rod end links coming in mail

It is supposed to have front toe out and rear toe in. It was correct before you adjusted it.

Wrong! They are all out of whack! You want them pretty straight. A little toe in on the rear is good but I also try to line mine up nice and straight.

Good first inspection and setup. I've got my cheetah one week ago and i've coated the Esc and receiver with Sylicone Conformal Coating. My only problem, it keeps overheating the Motor, after 10 min drive it just stops. Also it drains the batteries really quick( 15min 3S, 5500mha drive). Don't think the two layers of coating is causing any issues, the mesh gears are aligned properly. Don't know at what else to look to fix the overheating

I have a Traxxas Slash 4x4 so I bought the Senton6S...Im thinking of purchasing the Cheetah and the Bison...which is better and what mods for the Bison???

I don't have the bison. The weakest point of the Cheetah is its brittle differential gears.

Thanks. It's a 3mm Allen key (hex key). The wheel nut is 17mm

Yes, I think I did, because I wanted to make the suspension a bit softer.

I have been trying to get my CHEETAH to do a flip from a stand still but it just lands upside down, I have a 80A & 120A and they just want flip am I not doing something?

Need moar powaaahhh. Try a biger voltage battery or adjust punch settings if available.

Adjust the punch level tank. Also try to use a 50c+ battery. That will do it for ya!
