Ok, now it's beginning to look good, the animations seem to be a lot less robotic and fake than before ! Still a bit stiff sometimes but big improvement, especially on landings. And with this amount of options and customizations I'm interested !

In the end I'm more of a TrueSkate guy which is about to make a big step since its last updates ... adding the long anticipated Sandbox aka Level editor addition to the game.

fr it is so much better. the only problem i have is the longer i play the game, the lower the framerate seems to get. like i don’t change anything, i’m just skating around and after like 10 mins it goes from 30fps to like 20fps. i wish i knew how to fix it but, the game’s still not officially out so i can’t really complain

This is the update I've been waiting for. Major improvement on the feel and look of skating. Especially spin tricks. The skater's animations during 180s and 360s look so clean. Grinds are not only easier but they look way better. Blunt slides alone look alot better Favorite update so far

Everything in this update feels so damn good. The Manny fixes really allow you to flow and get a bit of that Mullen style in your lines. And Idk what it is, but yeah, even the grinds feel *so* much better and more satisfying. For anyone having potential issues, just remember to lock FPS and if you're modded, be sure to clean out the "Session Game" folder before uninstalling and reinstalling. On that note, buttery locked at 144 native refresh for over 4 hours straight now with a clean install. All around a great update and has me hyped for the next one.

Skate will be the new Tony Hawk now that it has sim competition. I think most people will fall back to Skate when it's released, but the guys that ride irl are going to stick to this just because of its simplicity

Got home from work and it's downloaded was hyped af. The performance is awful man! Back to how it was like a year ago, jaggy graphics and unplayable slowdown. I'm on a peasant Xbox so I don't expect top settings but it's kinda unplayable at the moment. Also manual turning is baulked, I'm doing 540's on flat.

13:30 I guess as part of the balance mechanic they want to add to grinds, they'll have to add a sort of pump/depump mechanic so you don't go flying off kinks...? I've never been a rail skater so I don't know how much you have to "pump" to stay connected through kinks

I love this update. The gameplay is so smooth now, compared to the previous release. One tiny thing you forgot to mention, as part of the flow i think, there's kick turns now. I love that you can now get on your board while jumping, and I hope they'll add some animation in for that in a next update. I am also hoping that when we get lip tricks, they will add the possibility to actually drop in.

This update has been super cool so far now they just gotta work out the weird physics bugs you get when the board clips into something and also there's this superrrrrr weird glitch I was getting where the speed randomly ramped up like crazy when you're not pushing and by extension the skater would keep putting their front foot down while I was trying to manual making the Daewon challenge nearly impossible apart from the fact it glitched out and counted anyways.

This games board control is fucn intense af like i did a kickflip bs tailslide with the manual flip option on so not only i had to actaully catch the board the other times i was messin up was because the board kept hittin the rail at the slightest before the flip was complete when i finally caught it i caught it with my backfoot first then front foot leadin to the tailslide this game really is a master peace still has ways to go tho

This update is great! Been enjoying it the last few hours. Before this update I've rocking your gameplay stats for pop height and everything and they seem to still look and feel okay in this update. One thing you did in this video that I've constantly trying but can't seem to pull off that manual > quick shuv > manual. I can never seem to get the second manual to hit. I think it's almost certainly a timing issue on my part but any tips? Looks sweet when you pulled it off.

@@marekberec564 You won't damage anything. The game will either run better or run like crap. The game's performance has nothing to do with how your console operates. It's no different than changing a setting on PC. At best it will run poorly, at worse it will crash the game. Change whatever setting you want in-game, it won't have a negative impact on your console. Those settings are designed to be changed and tweaked.

Yo i used to have modded session and I updated it and deleted all the mods, but when i start up the game it still recognizes the mod and says like oh this version doesn’t support mods and the maps i had downloaded, and closes the game. Anybody know how to fix jt?

I’ve had a way better time with Session through early access than any skate game so to me the answer is pretty clear. Even session as it is now provides me wth so much more engagement than a fully polished skate ever could. Skate could only come close to competing if it adopts the dual stick controls, but skate is made to target a mainstream audience so I don’t think we’ll see that happen with skate 4
