Trump is racist towards us, claiming we are "Mexicans with a New York accent" and saying he won't give more money to a government like ours. If we benefited them in any way, we would have become a state already just like Alaska and Hawaii. By being a colony they obtain millions from us and don't have the full responsability to treat us as a state and give us all the benefits. However, they won't let us be independent cuz they need economic shit from us. As a Puertorican, statehood will never be in my beliefs and I aspire to be independent just like the majority of the countries on earth.

When you read the comments, all the hate towards JLo comes from people from South America. I understand Shakira is from your country/continent, but come on. You can't underestimate someone just because she is from the caribbean (Puerto Rico). They are two types of latinas, with two TOTALLY different styles and they both were absolutely STUNNING. Shakira danced among other rhythms, champeta and mapalé, very Colombian dances. The sound with his tongue is from a typical dance of the Barranquilla Carnival. JLo danced Colombian salsa, with dancers from Cali, Colombia. It is a show perhaps a little unknown to Americans but culturally rich.

Yes Shakira is definitely the better singer, JLo is a performer. However in this instance JLo sang a lot, while Shakira used a lot more playbacks. Regardless both women were extremely impressive. Personally I liked JLo’s part more, but I absolutely think Shakira and the dance group at the end (in gold) just crushed it!
