今日の授業ありがとうございます。 二つの使い方があると知らなかった。人は何かを比べると思ったね。 実はそうだけどね。だって一語の目的語しかない、対してを使わないでしょう。 今度もよろしく。 Thanks for today's lesson. I didnt know there were two ways to use 対して. I always thought people who used it would be comparing things. Actually aren't they? Because you wouldn't need to use this grammar at all if there was only one (logical) possibility, right? In the first example, if there was only one child you wouldn't use 対して.

A better translation here is ‘with’. She is angry with him. She is angry towards him isn’t the way we’d say it.
