Just to let you know, the exam was way harder that this, this is just the (例) level, I’m not discouraging you but I don’t want someone to get shocked, I recommend practicing on this and then try practicing on a higher level as well, you don’t have to be perfect tho

@@maunebelle6709 higher levels probably use closer speed to normal speaking but i remember when i was doing the cambridge C1 in english it threw me off how slow the english was in the listening part (as I'm always used to high speed, and always had videos a x2) thankfully right before the exam i forced myself to get used to normal speed, but the exam was like x2 slower i would say try to get used to normal speed, but be prepared for the exam to have slower speed in general than normal conversation even for higher levels

the first "question", 6th segment, the question is "what's the first thing the woman will do?", option 2 (which is what i picked the correct answer) says "to look for a place to go to", while the answer sheet says 3, but option 3 says "to decide what will they do (at the trip)".... in the conversation, the man says to the woman she should pick a place first, THEN they'd decide what they do based on what the place was going to be, so...... is the answer sheet wrong, or am i tripping??

EDIT I was highly unprepared for the N3 listening section. This is MUCH EASIER than the real test. I am absolutely shocked at the massive gap in difficulty between listening and reading for N3. Granted I live in Japan and listen all day, but still, the lack of difficulty on this is wild.

I just took it a week and a half ago and thought the exact same thing. I was able to understand these just fine, but the actual test was so much harder and I barely got any of them. I'm relieved I'm not the only one who felt this way, but I still need to step up my listening practice it would seem.

It's actually way easier than I thought it would be! Probably because N1 is barely C1, so N3 is nowhere near as high as B2 , but it makes me feel better a little bit.:) Thanks for uploading!

In german we say N3 us equivalent to B2 Maybe because of the kanji. I mean you wont have furigana in the actual test right?

@@isaac-p6126 you won't have it in the kanji-knowledge part, but there is furigana. Which isn't very good, it wasn't necessary in most cases and only distracted me, but maybe it's just me. They probably assume you don't know some pretty popular readings just because they aren't required for N3 haha. I feel like N2 is around B2, because B2 should equip you with the skills necessary to communicate pretty decently, and N3 doesn't fully provide those skills. What do you think?

Yo ! I don't get the answer for the 6th question of mondai 1. Doesn't the guy say "let's decide what to do AFTER we decide the place" (basho wa kimatteKARA kangaeyou)? So the right answer would be the second one (mazu, ikubasho o sagasu) and not the third one (mazu, nani o suru ka kimeru), wouldn't it ? what did I miss ? :)

I wonder why number one (1) is the answer in mondai 2-1? He said he will have a business trip on monday and tuesday, then the woman said if he will be busy on the day after his business trip. so the answer will be wednesday.
