@@dellchica2373 Hi Dell, we say we 'own a cat' , but in reality, they manage to get into our hearts and own us. Sometimes it takes time for people to gain their trust, but once you do, you'll be their family. If they go outside, then come inside and look up at you with loving blinky eyes as they drop a dead rodent at your feet, they are expressing concern about your hunting capabilities and are trying to teach you how to hunt. And those little bites to your hands or ankles, are just 'love bites' . Each one has their own quirky personalities, of course. But they provide love and companionship in the most blessed ways. If you ever decide to let yourself be the recipient of a cat's affection, you can count yourself as one of the blessed chosen ones. And more than one is even better! I have been blessed with three!😻🐈🐺

I agree about the wonderful effect of cats. I get similar benefits from dogs and horses too, and I wouldn't want to be without them either. They are all especially loving after being rescued, of course. :)

LOL They deign to live with us, and if we turn out to be proper caretakers, and worship them as our ancestors did, (LOL pets, scratches, head bonks, food, water and clean litter) the love and joy they give in return is immeasurable. There is nothing better, to me, anyway, than drifting off to sleep with a kitty purring in my ear....and another across my ankles, one on my stomach, one at my side....I cohabit with 9, sometimes it gets a bit crowded! Technically, five are 'mine', three of them are rescues. The other four are rescues, also. It seems once you see one cat in need, that's all you see, and if you're like us, you can't walk on by, you have to help. I also have food and water on the porch for whomever needs a bite. So far, that has included; skunks, possums, raccoons and neighbors' dogs, as well as kitties. During the summer, some of the birds prefer the kitty kibble. LOL ✌💖😺😺

My Rennie was found by my daughter who was out jogging one morn, tossed in the woods, left to die. She was just like that, not 4 wks old, malnourished, eye infection, scrawny. We nursed her back to health and she just celebrated her 3rd birthday with us. She is the light of my life.

I hope all will fine with this kitten. I took at home a stray sweet cat boy with the same eye issue in June, treated him for 3 weeks, but I had to euthanize him because he suffered of koronavirus. It was very hard decision, but I've done everything what I can for him. He took a piece of my heart.

I enjoy caring for animal cats, dogs and such, every day I visit a number of cats who live on the streets. Recently one of my cats gave birth to a liter of 4 kittens, one red, one black and two spotted brown, white and black. The problem with the kittens is they all show eye infects. This evening I decided to take one home with me, I gave him a bath, fed him and made him as comfortable as possible.. In no time at all I felt he adopted me. The sad thing is that I noticed his eyes are cloudy with a discharge so I took special care of his eyes. I noticed he can't see well. Hopefully I can get medes for his eyes and share it with the other three kittens. Thanks'
