Absolutely stunning motorcycle and the Akro exhaust system. The only drawback is the heat it puts out due to the location of the exhaust and rear cylinders. I could never have one as a dd. Outstanding bike especially in red!!

Hello I have a question: With your Akrapovic on Panigale v4 is it necessary to disassemble the right side silencer to disassemble the rear wheel or not necessary to disassemble the silencer right side to disassemble the rear wheel ?? thanks and greetings

No need to disassemble the muffler or remove rear wheel.

Did you drain the radiator or just move it forward? I’m about to do my front cam seal and trying to minimize extra work.

I did not completely remove it I just had to disconnect a bit enough to move the radiator forward.

Hi great video. I installed Akra system on my V2 . The bike is running lean on the Dyno I did install the up map for the system. Did you reinstall the exhaust valve motor (SAI) or did you leave it off. We are trying to figure out why she runs so lean. Thanks

We followed exactly what it said on the Akrapovic instructions. I also used the map from Ducati/Akrapovic not the up map.

Not trying to be negative.. but wont it affect your warranty if you do it yourself also you will be missing the stamp on the service history. Can be a deal breaker when selling

I choose to wrench on my own bikes but that's just me... Unless of course there's a lifetime warranty then no.

Did you have to put a servobuddy on yours to get rid of the error code or does the upmap fix that? Getting the upmap done this week but not sure if I should order a servobuddy.

What sort of time frame is this installation? One dealer said 10 hours of labor.

My first time doing this akra install on a V4 and it took me about 10 hours. If I had to do it again I feel it would take less time which comes natural obviously with repetition. If your dealer is charging you 10 hours labor I think that is fair.

No heat on the seat area whatsoever. I do feel heat hitting my left inner thigh coming from the rear exhaust valves.

JMAN yeah haha.. I like the design of panigale v4 and need to testride both first and decide which one will be my first ducati.. The new panigale v2 is similar with the v4 but there's some detail like the gas tank are a bit small in my opinion.. v4 is perfect in design but i worry about the heat bcoz in my country here the temperature always above 30℃
