So, trivia time; they actually did blow up houses in a real neighborhood as well as trash a real mall. The neighborhood was going to be bulldozed to make room for a runway extension at Hartsfield International Airport in Atlanta, so the filmmakers were given permission to blow it all up. The mall was Avondale Mall, also in Atlanta, and it was going through a major remodel and they were given permission to trash it as well. The mall is long gone now, sadly.

That nigga’s goatee also looks like it fell out or off someone’s ass, I do not approve. I hope they put him in a fucking Marvel movie so I can watch the first IMAX time lapse fight scene. Don’t even give him a character or costume just like the rest of his movies, just walk him on set Burger King bag in hand and let him fight Groot with no context, fuck it 🤷🏾♂️
@josephfranzen56262 жыл бұрын
@@brandonkeys4349 Hahahahaha dude this the best comment I’ve ever read. You’re absolutely correct in that his fighting style was created to allow disarmed samurai a means to defend themselves until they can regain their sword or primary edged weapon. Exactly like you said; when dudes roll up on you and start throwing haymakers or even something as simple as a hook and jab combo, his martial art has no real counter.

I rented this movie so many times as a kid. Hands down my favorite movie and I guarantee you that I’ve watched this movie more than anyone else ever. some facts 1. Chuck Norris never takes a hit in the movie. Never gets touched 2. The antagonist is terrified of the protagonist the entire film 3. “It’s time to die” is Chuck Norris’ teaser to Raustof. 4. I have no idea where these terrorist came from but they were diverse as hell. 5. The logistics of what and who they attacked were random acts of craziness. 6. Rocket launcher were used so often in this film. 7. Shooting people in the growing just a sick way to take someone out.

12:00 - "Max Maxwell, a 32-year-old stunt man from Memphis, Tenn., filed suit in Superior Court against Cannon Films, Golam Globus Productions, director Joe Zito and the stunt coordinator and special-effects coordinator for the film, 'Invasion USA.' Maxwell was playing a security guard during filming on June 7 in Atlanta. He said the script called for the terrorists to use explosives to collapse a steel door leading into a garage for armored cars. Maxwell was told the door was merely to collapse and he was supposed to take a couple of bullets,' Kroll (his attorney) said. 'Instead the explosion was so awesome it blew the steel door to smithereens and sent debris flying all over the place.' Maxwell was hit by debris and suffered a fractured right forearm, a lacerated forehead, bruised knee and numerous cuts. He will be unable to work for at least three months, Kroll said.

Have you guys ever seen Avenging Force with Michael Dudikoff? It was intended to be a sequel to Invasion USA with Dudikoff now playing character of Matt Hunter. It’s a Hard Target movie before Hard Target where he’s hunted through the bayou by a team of killers each with unique methods of dispatching prey. It’s worthy of this channel as is Death Wish 3 with Charles Bronson. Now THAT is a beer and a laugh out loud movie!!

Have you seen Delta Force? It's not half as good as this, but the finale does have a bike with rockets on it... I remember being disappointed with this movie as a kid as I wanted more Norris kicks. But seeing clips again, I was stupid. This rules! That stuntwoman hanging off the side if the truck is the true MVP of the movie though.

I haven't seen it, but I added it to the list after watching this gem. Yeah, the stunt woman was insane!

@@JasonBrant what's weird is Delta Force is based off a real hijacking and aside from the kill count, there's actually a reasonable amount they get right. Sans Rocket bikes of course 😄

I just realized that I actually own this movie, along with The Delta Force and Missing In Action. It's apart of a 3 movie box set I've never actually watched. I also have a 10 movie box set that not only includes three more Norris films but even a Seagal movie, Driven to Kill, which I watched your review of. Funny what you find just laying around. This also has to be the most random movie I've ever seen. Blowing up random houses with a seemingly infinite single shot rocket launcher, shooting random people in the streets while pretending to be cops (it actually does make sense they only use shotguns though since the idea of most cops having AR-style patrol rifles didn't really take off until after the 1997 Hollywood Bank Shootout), blowing up AND shooting random people in a mall. Like these guys went "Hey, should we take the strange absence of the Coast Guard and Navy to make surprise attacks on military installations? Nah, that'd be silly."
@thing86293 жыл бұрын
Surprised. Compared to the others, this one is almost well done.

@@JasonBrant My only regret in that movie is that Chuck didn't cut this evil guy in pieces for all he has done. Killing him with a bazooka seem more like a mercy killing, he could have take his time with more bold karate moves and all sorts of Steven Seagal type of violences.

I actually watched this last night. Hadn't seen it since the late 80's. I totally forgot just how bad it was...and not in a good way either. The way they portrayed the soldiers was honestly hilariously insulting. But if you have around an hour and a half to dispose of and don't care how you waste it this movie will certainly do the job.

The Cannon Group only spent like Five Million Dollars on any film they ever made. The neighborhood house attack scene was filmed in an abandoned part of town in Atlanta, GA that was set to be demolished which eventully became the runway at the Main Atlanta Airport.

Pretty sure Chuck has drop-kicked a car or two, but i'd love to see a movie where he kicks a rocket mid-air. I was expecting his shot at the end to hit the other guy's shot perfectly. A missed opportunity, there.
