The "random items" character that isn't actually random.

Today we're playing more Persona 4 Arena Ultimax (with the rollback patch!) We'll be looking at Teddie, a very interesting character with an interesting gimmick: he throws out random items, except they're not truly random: they come in a set order. By planning well with the item order, you can do some amazing combos and setups!

Fairly easy. S Button collects 1 out of 13 possible evidences (6 are Useful, 5 are Useless, 1 instantly heals you). When you've got 3 Useful evidences and hit the oponent with the Objection move, Phoenix enters Turnabout Mode. While on Turnabout, Phoenix has bigger hitboxes, more Hitstun, more damage and a new Super (Ace Attorney) for a limited time. And that's kinda it

@@b.w.c5933 But there's a little more to it: there is a limited set of orders you can get evidence in, and this randomness is seeded after character select. So if you go straight into match 2, you can actually know what evidence you'll be seeing in the future based on what you pulled in match 1; the order is preserved. Some pro players know enough of the orders to often be able to say if they're about to enter a useless evidence streak, and will deliberately go back to character select and pick the exact same party so that PW's RNG rerolls into something that's likely better.

Play GGrev2, Plus R, BB, Melty blood (both TL and AACC), SFV (believe it or not), Fate unlimited code (really unique for 3D fighters), Skullgirls, and that one Touhou fighting game (the one with the star inputs.)

I really got to get this game. I havent played any of the persona games and the only thing about persona I know is from BlazBlue cross tag but everytime you show this game, it looks hype as shit.

I think it would be really cool if there was an item based character that had a roulette for their items. It would move really fast, but if you know the timing, you can get what you want. Additionally, the Roulette would slow down the longer it's active, and there could be an install super that also slows it down for a short period of time.

One thing your forgot to mention, Teddie has TWO item lists, with their own unique item cycles, one is accessed with 5D and the other with 2D
