The reason JME wouldn’t tell them about streamer bias is because on the previous episode at the end, he mentioned he’d be talking about it in this episode however neither Simon or Randolph remembered and weren’t prepared for the topic hence why JME shut it down everytime. Your welcome 😊

JME's point about figuring out how to release his music is super interesting. The desire to make an impact rather than just be on a streaming platform where it would a flash in the pan moment is a great thought. Leveraging another medium to push his music, where our collective conscience is retained for a longer time, could be a great way to retain the impact and make it not feel forgettable like most music is these days. Kudos to JME for pushing the boundary on independent artistry and using business knowledge to empower the artists rather than the corrupt and frankly evil music labels.

SIMON please for the love of god I hope you read this. I’ve been watching you/ the sidemen for countless years. You’ve always been my favourite sidemen and every characteristic of myself has always reminded me of you. In saying all of this I’m going on a bit of a tangent in hopes you get to the actual point of this comment which is that there is nothing more in the world that I’d love, than for you, Randy and JME to discuss ADHD. I know I’m late to commenting on this but I work a fair bit and mainly listen to sidecast/what’s good when I’m working. So I don’t always get through them straight away. An explanation of what ADHD actually is if you guys are genuinely intrigued, (as I myself am diagnosed) is basically that it’s a medical condition that revolves around executive dysfunction. Dopamine which is the chemical that pretty much controls your mood, sleep, motivation, attention and basically just everything. People with ADHD are deficient in dopamine, so to basically in very very simple terms explain the complicity of it. Think of whenever you’re doing anything ever, you’re doing that whilst you feel as if you’ve got the functioning capability of being fully sleep deprived. That’s our normal day to day functioning and basically put it this way, the dopamine we lack we search for in everything we do because we’re missing the key chemical every normal human being already has. So addiction rates are much higher and so on. But yeah 1 in a million you guys will read this and I’ve typed an absolute essay and I don’t usually comment on anything you guys post even tho you guys have literally been the only content I’ve consistently consumed for years on end. I honestly couldn’t not comment hearing the mentioning of ADHD as I think once you understand it more of JME can explain it in the right way, you’ll really resonate with it Simon. That is all, love you guys
