I think Oz deserves more credit in the guitar world, he's an amazing player. Joe B is always great.

JB is the REAL DEAL. Ya gotta love how he quotes Clapton's solos here, incorporates them and develops them into his own JB firestorm-style solo, and ultimately elevates this tribute beyond what the initial legendary recording already was. Wow. Thanks JB! Also, notice how JB's comping behind Oz is so understated and supportive: Grooving, yet never in the way, always contributing without drawing attention away from Oz.

If Albert King’s family received a royalty for every time someone borrowed his licks - they would be in the forbs 500 list 😂. Beautiful playing. Thanks 🙏

Oz Noy definitely had the upper hand. More creative and diversified in his chorus. Used our good ol pentatonic scales and sum more

Great presentation by some great players. First time I can remember that I’ve seen Oz! Very impressive and always great to see to see Steve C. as well. Maybe someday Joe will do an album of great covers because he’s one of the very best at doing others songs!

Kind of an insult. To Joe I mean. Clapton is boring, repetitive, and lazy. On a good day.

Clapton was revolutionary. Joe is just an overrated, boring, predictable and robotic guitar player. Oh, and a weak songwriter.

it would be tough to own at least 2 of every highly-sought after vintage tube guitar amplifiers & guitars & find yourself playing someone elses, unfamiliar, non-desirable, gear. give him credit, he pulled it off with no hiccups.🤜🤛

Really nice laid back performance. Without a young Ginger and Jack, it may be too much to expect for Joe to channel Clapton '68 instead of 90's Clapton. Definitely could have used more volume from the bass.

Drums are lacking in this version. Ginger Baker's drumming plays a big part in the songs groove and sound.

I like Crossroads a little more staccato/pointy in the rhythm so I'm not hooked, but ok playing otherwise.

How the hell can you sit front row when these guys are jamming a song like CrossRoads and not even move your head to the beach. That is just obnoxious. Sitting like goddamn statues.
