How to calculate Throughput in Jmeter,The number of transactions performed by http request per second within a time.Throughput values will be calculated based on transaction per seconds and min response time which is in milli seconds,in this video you will learn Calculate Throughput in Jmeter.
Throughput = (No of samples/(Max ts+t)-min ts)*1000
Max Response Time = 1485692457174+491
Max Resp Time = 1485692457665
Min Res Time = 1485692456175
1485692457665 - 1485692456175 = 1490
Throughput = 1490*1000
Throughput = (2/1490)*1000
Throughput = 0.0013422*1000
Throughput = 1.34

question: 1. why im getting throughput in /min? my total throughput is in /sec, not tally at all. 2. i read in any website, they said higher is better for throughput. i thought response in sec is better than a minute for any request, correct?

Throughput means number of requests sent to web server,most of the time checking higher throughput for our test results in Summary Reports which measure using No of requests sent and Number of responses received from server,so need to measure Response Time,latency etc parameters also to analyze proper throughput.
