Saw Matt perform last night in Boston. Amazing artist. The guitar sounded great in the church were the performance took place. Even with not the best acoustic environment. I like the concept as I had a string lash on one of my guitars. I would like to see a felt bottom not to have direct contact with the top. Does the hub with the nut get in the way of winding the low e string? Looks very close

Great idea. I remember Michael's tongue in cheek version using an index card with tape. This is a big improvement.

Looks good! Years ago i got a, "Bib" from SBM which works OK but is a little to big for my bridge.

It's good to listen to Dilermando Reis played outside Brazil :)

Michael, is this product still available? The links seem to be down.

'tis quite amusing worrying about a little string ding when the top is already highly scarred by the fingernails of the RH

Matt is a concert player, so he is in a different league. Lots of Sefan Rak! In my 45 years as a luthier I've seen tons of flawless guitar tops with the only damage to the finish behind the bridge. David Russell has a permanent plastic plate behind his bridge for the exact same reason. I guess he's silly too!.
