JMoF 2016 Con Video (Japan Meeting of Furries)

Wowowow! My first international con and in Japan! I had an amazing time. It was nice meeting new friends and seeing the different style of suits. The culture and everything is so different from the western part of the world, and yet there are things that are similar. I would love to go back again.
Although it's the largest fur con in Japan, it is not as big as some of the US cons. However, what they have going on is quite impressive. I have nothing to say but good things about the con - they are very inviting to international attendees and was quite an experience to attend.

wow Japanese furries aren't cringey at all. It looks like they spend a lot more time making the suits. Some of these are very detailed and look realistic.

I love going to different places just to see their types or style of fursuits, Japan usually has traditional Japanese animals and styles (Dragons, Japanese cats) or really hard worked realistic looking wolves

I think I will always be a huge fan of the realistic looking fursuits ! That one with horns that looked like a fox was so freaking cool!!! I want a fursuit head of my sona but not sure how much they cost.

+Airowin fox Depending on the maker they can cost anywhere from $1000 - $6000 for a full suit, partials (head, gloves, tail and feet paws) are a fair bit cheaper. As for realistic suits they tend to be in the higher price range, but if I understood and you're only after a head then that again makes it a lot cheaper. I've seen heads go from about $500 - $1000, but again it depends on the maker and the style you want.

I see some realistic and semi realistic suits. Those are my fave among the fandom. The anime eyes are a bit too much. Some of the suits have very familiar looks to western suits which means everyone is inspired by each other or they commissioned outside Japan. I have seen some.of these suits in Anthrocon parades.
