Fun fact: I did this with a high school AP group, unintentionally. They were studying history and I had two dates correct just in an instant, and I said to the group of 4 girls and 1 guy "If you really want to get good at history, listen to Sabaton. Their music is 2500 years of famous battles". That's literally all it took.

One of my favorite things about these videos is sometimes you get me into bands and then sometimes you make me realize why I enjoy the bands I do in the first place. Plus you’re just fun to listen to. Your videos are like talking to a friend for me. With that being said may I have some band recommendations? You never miss. So far you have gotten me into Ashenspire Paysage D’Hiver I have asked for Tiamat before s few times so I know damn well you know they are my favorite metal band And you made me remember why I loved Agalloch as much as I do. The Native Howl: although relativly new to the metal scene, they have managed to open metal heads eyes to how thrashy blue grass and folk music can actually get. Kontrust: as a fan you have a hard time describing what genre they fall into, and so instead you just continue to vibe to their fun and up beat music. I first listened to Asking Alexandria in 2012 and immediately became my fav band, and I'd say they'd be my fav band until 2021 (another band got my heart), but it's just so heatbreaking how bad their songs are now. The first albums are metalcore masterpieces and now I can't even listen to what they release cuz IT MAKES ME WANNA CRY. They should just retire already edit 1: great summary about xasthur edit 2: correct about mgla... so correct (sobbing) edit 3: as someone who grew up to metalcore and inevitably knew bmth since the first albums... yeah I just dont listen to their new stuff lol

I've watched other videos in this series so I think I want to make a suggestion for an artist that I am a fan of: Utsu-P: you are a rare breed, you realise that your favourite artist is a niche within the already small niche of Vocaloid so when you find another fan of Utsu-P you are either stuck in the never ending nightmare called the Vocaloid community or you're trapped with a bunch of weebs. Anyone else who doesn't fit those two descriptions finds his music either annoying or gets put off by the vocal effects he uses to make it sound like Miku is screaming. This is just personal experience but keep up the good work
