Esteban Graham dude, he clearly doesn't think that way. He was just a kid who loved playing music, live and at home. He said the other day, in his current mood show, that he's only had sex with 6 people. So, it's pretty obvious that the mistakes he made, do not reflect the image people have created of him and were almost hoped upon by a toxic fan base, who, to this day, don't understand who John Mayer is. John is so much more than who he is, its hard to understand that if you stay in the shallow waters of his pop music and rolling stones interviews, but when you get to really know this guy, he is just a guy who loves guitar, and that, by using his talent to the farthest extent, can express really really honest and true ideas that really hit you. I don't want to accuse anyone of judging john or not liking him, I just want you to have a better life, by just giving him a chance and listening to all of his music. And when I say listen, I mean to really understand what he is trying to say.

It's obvious John was joking about the sex question but yet again someone took him seriously. I thought it was inappropriate for Carson to ask. Who set the standard that it was okay to talk to your guests like this? Carson: "Oh I bet you get sex all the time. Rate yourself." John: *is put in an awkward position because if he rates himself high he seems like a prick, rate low and you're considered a loser. Decides to make a joke instead to deflect the question. *"Oh yeah, sure, I have sex every time I go out. Just take what a normal 20ish year old does and triple that." Carson: *doesn't get it. Keeps talking about the issue furthering the discomfort*"Wow, I'm so happy that you have sex so often. How amazing! Let's move on..." John: "Wait, no...." *frustration*

I feel like these hosts set John up with these sex questions because John falls for it every time and buries himself by talking about women.

Well....this interview wasn't an interview. It was a vehicle for Carson to be famous talking to John Mayer. Very lame. Heavier Things was a great album and was recorded brilliantly and Continuum was his magnum opus. After Battle Studies he crashed and burned admittedly, had the vocal chord botox treatments, and reinvented himself and got off of the celebrity treadmill. He was a kid in this video still, a very young man and still figuring it out. We all make mistakes. He is still taking crap from all sides because of his new PRS signature guitar (which is brilliant i might add) but is now known as a great all-around artist. Songwriting, singing, and playing guitar are finally what he is known for. I could care less about his private life although i hope he has healthy relationships and great friends.....what i would wish for anyone. He is absolutely great at what he does and is the best guitar player of his generation along with Derek Trucks. They are carrying the torch quite well for the blues and music in general. God bless you John!

Yoh, they talk about women being sex objects! I feel for John Mayer. In each interview, they make him into a sex object and talk about his sex life. People have no boundaries.
