I see this truck a couple of times a week when I pass in front of the National Music Centre in Calgary. It's their premier attraction and is displayed behind a large window overlooking the street.

The Rolling Truck Stones Thing. Awesome. An idea is Genius when the thing happens and everyone says "I wonder why nobody else thought of it before." This is one of 'em.

Nice job explaining this. Did not know that it was Ian that thought it up and ran with the project. nice.

This was a cool feature. I mean i m sure most people know they owned the truck...but you did a great job telling the history showing pictures and that impressive list of tracks recorded with it

Brown Sugar was recorded at Muscle Shoals, not the mobile unit.
@michaelmoenning63662 жыл бұрын
You are exactly right about that they recorded brown sugar, wild horses and another song in muscle shoals and wanted to record more there but were banned from America for a while and never got back to record there again
@ed523692 жыл бұрын
The Stones were never banned from the US. Japan and France didn’t allow them in in 1973.
@michaelmoenning63662 жыл бұрын
Ok thanks for correcting that

Maybe not more notable but better😎
