If your focus is on studying, JNU offers a great environment for academics. I won't deny that there have been cases where female students faced harassment from fellow students, but it's unfair to associate such incidents solely with JNU. Harassment or abuse can happen to anyone, anywhere. What matters is how careful we are in choosing the people we interact with and how we establish personal boundaries. So, don’t worry too much. If you want to pursue a master’s degree from JNU, work hard and stay focused. Remember, it’s up to us to stay aware and cautious while living away from our parents and homes.

Scholarship is based on income and parents occupation criteria. And for outstation students, residence evidence is needed like Water Bill and if you are living in some pg/hostel then your rent bill etc.

Yes you can. For PHD you need to clear UGC NET exam.

@@madhuyadav1504 Hostel lists are already out. I think they will ask you to go to IHA directly for hostel allotment. Let's see what they do. Most probably, It can happen that you get the hostel same day.

There is no specific month for hostel allotment. Hostels are generally allotted after physical verification during admission. It takes 1-2 weeks for the allotment list to come out. Classes start within 1-2 weeks after admission. Yes you can if classes are not going and can stay in hostel.

Anti ragging tehsil ya bahut saari dukano par Banta hain aap pata karlo apne Ghar ke pass main. Main kuch keh nahi Sakti admission ko lekar par jab JNU release karega admission notification toh apply kar dijiyega uske baad ki cutoff aayegi and then selection confirm hoga. Koi baat nahi agar Delhi ke nahi ho aap apne Ghar ka bijli ka bill ka copy leaana.

Yaar ek baat batao bura na manana par agar koi insaan JNU se MA na kare toh kya uska UPSC and Ugc Net nahi nikalta kya?? Ek baat ko samjho UPSC main aane wala sociology and MA main padha jane wala sociology ka level alag hota hain. And for UGG NET MA SOCIOLOGY JNU se padhne main help hojati.

Aap kar sakhte Maters in Economics. Aisa respect jaisa kuch nhi hota, classes actually english main hoti hain aur exams and assignments sab kuch par hindi medium wale bache phir bhi acha karte hain kyuki woh continously try karte hain. Baaki faculty bhi help karti hain.

As per my knowledge two full time courses one can't pursue. And part time it's ok, no problem in that because IGNOU is a distance course. For more information you can search for it because I can't confirm what I say, for this you have to search for complete details.

For hostel allotment you just need to clear the CUET cutoff for JNU. Every subject has different cutoffs, you can get the cutoff list from Google.

Aap last year ke cutoff check karlo MSC botany ka. Baaki jnu jab admission notification release kare toh apply kariyega. Tabhi selection hua ya nahi decide hoga.

In my opinion there are no paid seats because it's illegal . Because all admissions are through entrance. There are many MSC students here and all are admitted through the cuet entrance exam. Jnu is not a private institution The paid seat system doesn't work here.

Haan scholarship hain around 2,000 rs. Baaki uske liye bhi kuch eligibility criteria hain for example income kam honi chahiye parents ki and shayad government job nahi honi chahiye parents ki.

I can't confirm that. Just apply for JNU, when it releases notification for admission. On the basis of applications submitted by the candidates the cut-off would be released and selection would happen.
