my septmom love Jo Dee Messia and befor she passed away she went me this song a few years before she passed I was young father and thought I was doing what was for my young family and my father and my setpmother and girlfriend who became my wife my stepmother seen write though her and she try to wrong be but I was blande to see what my stepmother and father was trying show me but moving forwares i just went though my emails and came cross this song and this song really spoke deep in my heart now that my wife and i getting a divorce i see the light that my stepmother was trying to show me back then but i cant take that time back but gosh i really miss her dearly .

The best mother-daughter song. My mom played this song on her phone. Explained it to me. While it's about a bf-gf breakup, it's also explains that bittersweet moment of when I'll become an independent young woman. I'll move out, get married, become a Meteorologist and I won't see my mom very often. While distance may separate us, we'll always think of each other and I'll always remember my mom❤

Back in 2002 my sister died in a car crash. I was so depressed and did not know how I was gonna make it without her. We had made a deal that we were to hug each other every time she left. She came by to see me and had to leave and we did not hug each other. I also mentioned to her not to forget to wear her seatbelt. Her last crash if she wore her seat belt she would not have made it. She was big driving in that crash. Anyhow this last crash she was not wearing her seatbelt flew threw the sunroof and was thrown. I was devastated. When I went to get grave I kept asking where are you Claire, are you ok where you are? Once I got back into my car this song started playing. It was like it was from her telling me that she is sorry she left me this way. And all that she wished me. I could also here her say “I’m ok” She did come back to me in a dream to give me a hug. It felt so real and when I woke up “you are my sunshine” started playing. You never know what someone’s song can do in a persons life. To me these two songs comforted me when I needed it the most. I miss my sister deeply but I know she is at peace. R.I.P Claire

15 years I married my bride. Three weeks before the wedding we went dancing to see some friends. We ran into an old girlfriend that I was close to marrying but I saw that we were both wanted different things. She (not paying attention to my soon to be wife, her family and everything else ran up wrapped her arms around me and did not let go...we talked for a bit and I excused myself to join my soon to be wife but I did ask her to save me a dance. I told my wife and she said no problem. I went back to dance a two step....safe.....We danced and she asked if we could have a slow dance later. I said that I would try...wife said no worries....I didn't know this song just that it was a slow dance tune. My bride told me go (she had not heard this song before as well). My old flame dance while my wife dance with a friend, As her and I danced she held me close, her hand on the back of my neck and her face buried in my chest. I tried to speak (not well) and I was told softly to just shut up. As my bride and myself listen to the words we both thought why did I choose to go out and dance to this on. Later on the way home my bride told me that she was upset and feeling guilty about marrying me. Dumbfounded I asked why and she said it was because that she could see how my old flame truly loved me and even though my wife loved and still loves me she wondered if she loved me that much. We have been married for fifteen solid years but as in the words of a Garth Brooks song I wonder what she doing now
