First, I'm so proud of Latifah. She handles the interview so well. She's never phony or fawning over her guests. Props to her. Second, I'm watching Joan Collins, one of my all time favorites and a true movie in the fullest sense of the word. Sexy but never cheap! As a nobody it was always but a dream. I had once wanted to approach her (silly me) about the possibility of essaying the role of Magda Lupescu, a Romanian known in history as the She Wolf, a peasant girl who went on to beguile a king and walked away with a fortune, retiring in a posh resort, Estoril, Portugal. It was a role, I'm sure, tailored to Collins in the fullest sense of the word. Too bad. But that's what you get for being a nobody. Nobody wants you!
