It is grand to see Alba back singing with the Band on this occasion, especially along side Elsa who performed a wonderful solo. Supported by a great arrangement by Joan Monné and backed by a group of talented musicians under the direction and inspiration of Joan Chamorro . Could this be the classic performance that it feels like?

Never, ever, again could anyone say Jazz is a male thing. It is simply a human thing. The Good Professor should not be praised for keeping Jazz alive in Europe, he should be praised for ensuring it thrives there by showing it is music for all, men and women, girls and boys alike. Elsa will have a record to be proud of. Great solo. Sis knew it was class.

At some point, somewhere, Alba became a woman. You might argue that this happened many years ago, since she has been performing at a level beyond her years for most of her life, but something about this performance really drives it home. It's a combination of her voice, her looks, and her stage presence that announce to all that this is someone entering into the prime of their career. The rest of the crew provide great support, Elsa's solo is superb, and it's wonderful to see the rapport between the sisters. Really good stuff here!
