As a Londoner it's really fun to see you do the touristy things I never do unless I'm showing friends around. It's a good thing you didn't go on the London Eye because it's overpriced and has glass floors so it's scary if you're not good with heights. You can see similar views from the top of lots of buildings. The best things to do in London are all the cool markets, restaurants, bars, pubs and exhibition spaces that tourists don't usually go to. Did you go into Switchhouse (the rear building) at the Tate Modern? It has even better views of the city than the river-facing part.
