JOANNA J has a very inspiring story. As a young girl, she got up at 3am daily to get warehouse goods for the family grocery store. After her daily grocery routine, she started doing bag striking work in an abandoned garage oil-change pit. She had to ask the early-morning garbage men to help her hang the punching bag up for the first time because it was too heavy for her to lift. She would wrap herself in plastic food clingwrap because she did not have a workout sweat suit. She left Poland to fight in Muay Thai in Asia as a teenager and lived in near poverty until the UFC began the women's Strawweight division.
