21:35 is where the border starts - just because I've needed to go back there a few times. When you reach one of the points where you've attached the 'sides' to the central circle, you need to work like this: - There needs to be one stitch in the top of the flower petal, in the same stitch that you're already attached one side of Row 17 to. - On the side of the petal where Row 17 begins, you just double crochet into the chain space and that's it - On the side where you only get the central circle (up to Round 16) you skip the chain space immediately next to the flower petal and double crochet into the next chain space.

You needed to go back to part one to start at 39:26 to start row 16 again....I had to hunt for it, lol!

Okkkkkkk I see why everyone is commenting on their border not coming out right now. She doesn’t show what to do when you get the center where the petals are. On the opposite end is not ending up the same as the end I did along with her. I’m frustrated

joanna i dont get it, u started the border row on top of the decrease with ch4+2 as treble crochet ch2 and cont the row on the other side till the 5 dc group. then after u reached at the same row 16 and skipped a st and dc on top of the decrease where u should do a treble right!? and secondly the part where u skipped a st before decrease u didn't do it on the previous 2 decreases st. my dear ur work until now has been a success and Iam doing it right now so before I go forward plz explain so I wont have to rep the pattern again..thanks :)

Thank you for asking : Row 16: Join, ch3(1st dc), (ch2, dc in next ch sp) x3. (Ch2, 5dc in next ch sp) x2, (ch2, dc in next ch sp)x 5, (ch2, 5dc in next ch sp)x1, (ch2, dc in next ch sp)x5, (ch2, 5dc in next ch sp) x2, (ch2, dc in next ch sp)x3, dc in the 3dc together from the previous rounds. I hope it will help.

No no I meant after finishing both sides when u start with ch4+2 from 21:50 after that u didnt do treble in any corner that's my question :) Anyways I figured out on my own and going on with the pattern. thanks for the reply ^_^

How did you figure it on? Working on the border as well and when I am on round three it doe not work out for me... So, I am wondering if I am missing a ch 2 and dc somewhere? How many ch 2 and dc so you end up before joining with a ss... And I thought it was weird chain 4 plus ch 2...

how many loops of treble crochet are there in one side of the square. I am getting 24 loops before the last or the top of the square. according to the design it should be 28 loops. Pl help.

On the first row of the border there should be 124 spaces altogether. 26 spaces at the top and bottom of each left and right sides. 3 spaces on the very top of each left and right sides and then 7 spaces on the top and bottom of the center between each left and right side.

I am so sorry I wasted all this time on this doily only to find the border is so messed up. You don't make sense when you explain it and at one place you were calling single crochets double crochets. Very bad directions. I guess I am just gonna throw all my work away. From now on I will read the comments before I attempt doing one of your patterns again.
