I have been giving these to all of the people working at the Radiologist and the Oncologists office. They have been taking such good care of my husband and I since being diagnosed with cancer. I ask what their favorite color is and make them a pair just for them. I have given out at least 20 pair so far and they have all loved them, including my favorite Dr. Ye. It makes me so happy to be able to give back to them a little. We are both cancer free and moving on to getting back to normal. Thank you for sharing this beautiful pattern that everyone simply loves.

Beautiful! I think I will make these elbow length, as I need something to keep my forearms warm while leaving my fingers free for crocheting or knitting. Although I am a novice knitter, I believe these will be relatively simple to make. Your instruction is very clear and well presented.
@JoannesWeb10 жыл бұрын
I'm very happy you like them. If you make them elbow length, you might want to cast on more stitches and take off as you go towards the hand. Make the ribbing smaller, maybe only 6 rows. I do advise you to make these as they are in the instructions, since you have a pattern and it wold be a little difficult to take off stitches if you are a beginner. Be well. Happy knitting!

I love knit work and I really want these! They are beautiful! I don't feel coorridinated to try this. It was also too fast for me. I would have to watch this over and over and if I loose a stitch, I would totally be lost! One hook crocheting is easier for me. Maybe I had better buy knit. lol

Teri Eddy What you can do is use the same kind of yarn and needles. Measure the with of the glove and measure the head. You will now see how many stitches you need. Just make sure you have a multiple of 5 + 1. Be well! Happy Holidays!

+JoannesWeb I have worked out the hat pattern adapted from your gloves pattern. It's knit in the round and I've only had to reverse rows 2 and 4. I posted my progress on Instagram for you to see (and tagged you). I think I've worked out the decreases in my head but I'm nearly there now so I'll see if I've imagined them correctly and will post those pics too. It will be a lovely hat/glove set once I finish. I'm going to see if I can knit the gloves in the round know too as I am adept at using the tiny 9" circulars... I will need to figure out the thumb hole, but I think I can do that too.
