Made me remember my first ride around Lime Rock (1961 in Lance Pruyn's Vette). It is that first moment when your brain says "Oh Shit, brake now!!!!" and your pilot grabs a gear and UPSHIFTS and ACCELERATES toward certain doom. And then the first braking itself as you suddenly experience high G DECELERATION. Nice vid, made me smile.

Back in the late 60's I used to race Sports Cars at Riverside (and other places) and one of the guys I worked with (Not a Race Track related job) was always riding me about how slow and bad a driver I was, And often tried to humiliate me in front of our Co Workers. Just a loud mouth, know it all bully! So I took him for ride on a Rally Course I used to practice on in the San Gorgonio Mountains one day. Only about 5 miles one way. He was screaming like this Lady after the first turn. A hairpin! When I hit the Cul De Sac at the end he was hoarse and said "Damn, I'm glad that over". I just grinned as we still had to go back down the Mountain. Going down is always faster and more fun, I think, than going up. Definitly more challenging... He said he wet himself before we were safely down. He never said another word about my driving. I guess he got a clue what was about to happen when I pulled out helmets for he and I to wear at the start line. It was a good day for me! That road is all lined with million dollar houses now, according to Google.
