When the follower moves backwards in prep for the leg slide what is the weight placement of their legs like 80/20 (80 on back foot and 20% on front) or different?
@JoaoVeraDance Жыл бұрын
Hi Samith 😁👍 on the begging we advice a even bigger difference of weight. Something like 90% on the back leg (or even more if the couple is having problems with the step). Than with time the goal is to the 80-20 like you said 👍👍

The Angolan dance Kizomba is conquering the world. Kizomba is a couples dance that was created in the 80s and is now conquering all of Europe as a new trend dance. The word “Kizomba” comes from Angola and means “party, celebration, celebration.” P.S: I mean like all cultural assets, so must the dance, the magic dance Kizomba be maintained-.

Does the tension in the frame increase when distance is created and relax when the distance is reduced between partners? Looks like you’re leading with your body and tension and connection in the frame when leading the girl for a step while you’re not taking a step. Also do you create distance by simply expanding the frame and not inviting follower into the space? Thank you!
