Back in the day we used a strat that allowed the DK's to use Pestilence, so they always topped the fight, but it also allowed the other dot classes to be able to go ham too, which was great because parses actually counted on this fight back in the day.

Yes, they function exactly the same. You can disarm their bladestorms and vice versa.

Does anyone know if the healer cheese works in classic? I remember people would sit there and have someone doing dmg to the pets bc the npc healers would treat them as "players" and dump heals into them

Huh? Resilience still works even in PvE, always has.
