I love the tips at the end, I've not seen that in other guides. Even as DPS, it's helpful to know what the tanks and healers have to look out for so I can plan my actions better. Also thanks for the heads up on no pets on crushers. I just know my dumb hunter brain would not have thought about it and gotten our tank squished xD

I would consider sending your boomkin into brain room, especially if the resto druid flexes to boomkin so you can keep crit buff outside. Starfall is extremely strong at clearing tentacles and unlocking brain faster for more uptime.

Does anyone have any insight into tentacles spawning as the push from p2 to p3 is occurring? We got our first 1-light kill last night on our only attempt ever where no tentacles spawned during the transition period. We had nearly 2-phased brain room so we had almost the whole window to finish cleaning up spawned tentacles. I'm hoping this can be replicated, because no tentacles up during last phase made it feel 100x easier. To me, it felt like because we were able to push brain well before the window closed, we were able to avoid tentacles spawning. Previously, we were just barely getting the push from 3rd brain room window, and would typically get it with dots.

Just had this discussion with my guild. It is confirmed that p1 adds spawn at an accelerated rate right? I was hating that ppl got shit on because they supposedly moved into clouds when infact the dps was just bad.

I would heal for the tentacles and then blast the brain - your damage on the tentacles isn't going to be too impactful and you don't want to risk losing anyone

I’d think the only one where this is potentially an issue is the fire ele. But, it’s probably a safe bet to save that for phase 3, if that’s not the case.

Good point Ton1c - we use a 2nd tank if things get hairy in p1 and p3 - can help to stagger who tanks the adds as they come in to mitigate big bursts of damage. Should have specific better my bad!
