The fact that a Destruction Warlock in not only being taken to the raid, deals comparative damage to other classes AND is insanely usefull (Shadowfury, AOE stun for the detonators) is rather surprising.

Great guide. Looks to be a fun fight if everyone is on the ball - its going to be a nightmare with disorganised groups though! Luckily my guild has good call outs, a great Ele Shaman and Boomkin and very on the ball healers. We are maybe a little heavy on the melee and only have ONE Warlock most of the time - so that does concern me.

My guild is having difficulties when the lasher's spawn. Its not from killing them, but from sun beams that spawn during it. We will eventually kill her with enough attempts, however at least one or two of our attempts will just fail because we stack right when the sun beams come up. We have a timer for it but have noticed it is plus or minus 10 seconds off. Any advice on how to deal with this would be appreciated.

We are having the same problem. Have you found a good way to deal with this? The only way I can think is wait to group up until youve seen sunbeams come out then group up and start with the lashers. Means you'll likely have to heal through some individual lasher damage though

@@Drizzt222 Yes, we started to kite her towards the door slowly while sun beams can spawn during lashers. This gives the raid just enough time to get out before the damage comes out from the beams, then you just do the lashers as normal and reposition towards the waterfall afterwards. Sometimes the raid needs to split up when that happens because people were too far, just let them know to make sure to run out and around the sun beams then restack on the tank and do mechanics.

Yes - because the glyphed blast wave removes the knockback mechanic. Normally tanks and melee hate it when you knock away enemies they are trying to hit, in this case its essential

Yes that is exactly what that means. The knockback comes in clutch for that lasher pack Freya summons.

Hey joardee, we had a lot of bad rng tonight that we didn't have the first week. We would stack for the adds and then she'd cast sunbeam right after and it would destroy everyone because we were stacked. Is there a way around this ? Have you ran into this ?

If the ele trio add dies, and then revives, does it only have half hp if you had wound poison etc on it when it died? Tiger boss in zg functions like this when phase 2 starts [not sure if a revive in ph1 works this way...as that happening was just a vanish reset situation when uhhh....that 1 time i farmed the mount...heh]. Just curious if having a weapon swap with wound on it is helpful if I see this situation is gonna happen.

I know everyone hates on Prot Warrior right now, but wouldn't their kit be particularly good on this fight? Block stacking deals with incoming damage from large groups, and Shockwave seems really good for the explode-y bois
