If you love these types of crazy heavy melodic riffs, you should check out the Melodic Brutal Death Metal band Vehemence. They were the ones who really influenced bands like JFAC and Knights Of The Abyss back in the day, as Vehemence was signed to Metal Blade Records and were the big dogs in the Phoenix Arizona metal scene and showed everyone exactly how brutal melodic riffs could get. They deserve more credit when it comes to heping inspire this type of deathcore that was so big in the myspace days, even though they weren't "core". I recommend checking out the song "By Your Bedside", or really anything from the album "Helping The World To See".
