Thanks for your question. If you are a chemical engineer it is not a position for you. In every process plant including petrochemical plants production is the core function. You have maintenance departments to support the production function. In addition you have other support functions such as personnel, finance, marketing etc. These are the key departments in any company. Finance executive works in finance department and his role is to manage finance and accounting systems in the company that includes managing receivables and payables, working capital management etc. Hope this answers your question.
