Hallelujah! Remarkable presentation. Even in this day compared to Jobs, this sure makes one really consider and remember what man does not know but they think they do concerning the Creators creation. And to use your words for praise unto the Lord and in a way that brings honor to Him, or else just be quiet. Be merciful and pray for them that are enemies of God. Just like the Lord Jesus said. My relationship with Jesus (most importantly He with me) has afforded me opportunies when I have questioned God due to my lack of knowledge or understanding and brokenness. The answers I have received have humbled me, for sure. I am cautious, however, not to doubt His reasons for things, but I am not afraid to ask Him questions. I believe He recognizes the difference between me being proud and me approaching Him with humility. He has shown me such love, compassion, mercy, and grace, I run to him for answers, as His child. As a result, I have come to depend on Him for more and more during my walk with Jesus...for almost everything. I admit, while it is my desire to surrender all to Him, I still think some things are for me to do instead of simply asking Him, "What would YOU have me do, Lord?" I have received His loving correction many times. Yet, in my arrogance, I do still struggle thinking I know what is best (pride) or feeling sorry for myself (another form of pride), and run right back to Him asking for forgiveness. Through it all, I experience His Majesty and am grateful when He humbles me. Thank you, brother Ken for this timely message. All glory to God!

Thank you for such a thoughtful comment. I believe there is a difference between asking God a question, and questioning God. The book of James talks about how much the Lord desires for us to ask him of the things we need. It states in that book why we don’t get the things we ask for…it’s when we ask Him for things according to our own will and not His. If you lack wisdom, and ask Him for it, He loves to grant that prayer. But when we bring His wisdom or character into question…like Job did…He does not respond too kindly to this accusation. Of course, He responds correctly at all times. Great comment. God bless you!

I was 22, driving home from the hospital where my 18 mo. old child was just pronounced dead. My husband crushed her skull. It was the middle of the night. I pulled off on a side street and told God ," I will never forgive my husband for killing my child!" God said to me in that moment," Who are you? I forgave everyone for killing My Son! Who are you?"
