love you guys, great teamwork! I was out of Huron Wednesday and showing so many great marks but not catching anything - threw a blade bait and immediately starting catching sheep head on the blade bait..... They can't help but hit that for some reason....

Hey just started following you in December 2021. So far this is my favorite video. I Absolutely love your boat set up. and I love how you actually let us viewers in on stuff that others don't. I definitely learned a lot. Maybe I'll see you out on the lake one day. Do you ever come North and fish the Detroit River in the Spring?
@JOBFishing2 жыл бұрын
Not much but I would like to spend some time on the river this year...

I fish the Canadian side of Erie, I usually run spoons and dipseys, I now own 4 offshore planer boards and about 35 bandits. I definitely put more fish in the boat, thanks to your videos! I look forward to seeing your videos. Do you use alot of custom bandits? Don't see alot here in Ontario
@JOBFishing3 жыл бұрын
We get a lot of custom painted baits in the Port Clinton area...Erie Outfitters, Fisherman Central and Fish USA.

A great day for you and a very nice video once again. I heard Melissa say that last few trips out. you were having a difficult time catching fish. I too have had a tough time as well this year. One of the things I hear people saying is that they have gone to using worm harnesses. I know you caught fish today on the RRs and the Bandits, but are there days and seasons that the worm harnesses may be a better way to catch fish? Thank you, Bruce
@JOBFishing3 жыл бұрын
I did inline and bottom harnesses but was only catching shorts where we fished in practice.

How did you end up in the tournament
@PostedPlacesTV3 жыл бұрын
Great video very informative !! Question do you all keep the tournament fish or are they released like bass??
@JOBFishing3 жыл бұрын
It depends on the tournament and the lake we are fishing. If the fish are kept they are donated to local food shelters.

You can run your deepest leads on yours outside rods as long as your not running snap weights so for me if I was running your program 120 would be my outside 80 middle 40 inside, you can reel them in fish or no fish and you won’t tangle!
@mikeschlimgen76663 жыл бұрын
That is true, however, the other school of thought is that your shallowest lures should be the furthest from the boat. The theory being that the deep fish won't be scared by the boat, but the shallow fish will. So there are pros and cons to both ways. If you set your outside and middle boards to trip, then let the boards drop back when a fish hits, you can still avoid tangles 75+% of the time.

Have you always had lund boats? i want to upgrade from my ranger 1880 angler to a 20, 21 ft. I dont like how the rangers have those big bulb containers in the back. Would you buy another lund?

I assume you've fished tournaments against the "cheaters". I would love to hear your thoughts on the matter or would you rather not comment? Thanks from central NC.
@JOBFishing2 жыл бұрын
I'm glad they were caught and I think Jason Fischer did a great job considering the situation. In an effort to move on I'm really looking forward to the derbies and pointing out all the positives that our industry of fishing brings the community and region.

@@JOBFishing I had never really heard of walleye tournaments before that incident. It got me searching videos on here and I really like the setups used to do this. I troll offshore and we do it for crappie on local lakes around here. (well, we did before Live Scope). I enjoy your videos they are very informative, keep up the good work and good luck in the future!
