Yes alot of women in the industry when i was working as an electrician apprentice for 2 years. I saw 3 women at different construction sites. Mostly interior designer and management. I would love to see a plumber or bricklayer women. Or may be a concrete pourer.

Political correctness is the first thing that comes to mind with this video. Lol from a construction workers standpoint, it’s hard to understand the trade if you have never done it. Construction is one of those things that you just have to do to FULLY understand it. You can’t go to college to learn how to install ductwork or how to raise steel. You have to get your hands on shit to understand the struggles tradesmen go through. I’m happy to see women stepping up and getting their hands dirty, but it helps to get some solid field experience.
@Usy1225 жыл бұрын
You're spot on. I've been working for a civils company for almost 3 years now. My department mostly deals with trenching and ducting, civils works for the state owned body that runs electricity. When I started working I was completely clueless, but over the years I learned the majority of things. I can fully explain you the whole process and from breaking the ground to getting the cable in and reinstating the road surface. As you said, you can't just read about it, you gotta see and experience it.
@B0N3CA57L35 жыл бұрын
That’s awesome! I hope you are enjoying your job. I love skilled trades and the art of working with your whole body and mind. It’s a great challenge each and every day.

As a site supervisor I would ask you to tie a knot in your hair for safety reasons. I have long hair too and most men can't understand the hazards and inconvenience a hair like yours can cause. Maybe you should start with that
@rajafaisalhanif92764 жыл бұрын
your major concern is distraction of workers due to pretty long hairs lol.... instead of entanglement hazard!
@EscorpioShadow4 жыл бұрын
@@rajafaisalhanif9276 you truly didn't understand what I said. Try a different translator
@rajafaisalhanif92764 жыл бұрын
@@EscorpioShadow I understand very well what you meant. I was just kidding on lighter note, actually it is constant factor whether we accept it or not there are lot of attractions signs in opposite gender....like flying hairs often covering her face again and again distract the male audience/counterparts during tool box talks , site inspections or in meetings. So i think it's good to cover long hairs or secure them otherwise it could be exposed to entanglement into nearby rotating parts of machinery and could be trapped in radiator fan belt during car oil / water inspection
