Dear Marion🥰 I remember preparing an essay about Job as part of the diploma in theology. Until the lupus condition attacked my skin, I really did not understand the book of Job. When the lupus condition attacked my skin, I was covered in what looked like burn marks all over the skin, Ralph was crying, and both of us could not believe that God had allowed this to happen. The dermatologist even said this chronic, and I am not able to treat you. We were then referred to a rheumatologist who has a friend who is a top dermatologist at the Royal Free Hospital in London. It has taken over 18 months for us finally to have an appt booked for the 4th of February this year for the Royal Free Hospital. I am on so many drugs and have lost so much strength. The testing for both of us has been immense, although we have grown together in love as husband and wife through the challenges. GOD said not, " Thou shalt not be afflicted, but ' Thou shalt not be overcome' Our God reigns, Our God reigns. Always love the fact that many people still use the phrase "the patience of Job" until I became a Christian did not even know that Job was a book in the Bible. Many blessings sent to you, Marion. This hit home for me Marion, my son was arrested several years ago on the first-degree murder charge. I was so angry and so hurt and so devastated I went to the mountains. I climbed up a hill and I screamed towards the heavens, not understanding how God can allow this to happen in the last couple years, there were so much confusion and my prayers were to get him out of the situation and to let him be free again, but over the years my prayers have changed to let his will be done and that I trust in him and that God interceded and my son is not dead, and he’s not addicted to fentanyl and he’s had the chance to come to God himself and he reads his Bible every day and that God could still use him inside prison to help other inmates and although we’re just at the start of this and his trial hasn’t happened, I know that God will be there by his side whatever happens it is the will of God , I believe my son is innocent, and there’s a lot of evidence to back that that we have a long road of trials to go through but through my Bible study I have learned that God is the sovereign God, and that God can use any situation to his glory, and this just hit home for me because the way we pray is crucial and we may not see the big picture and sometimes we hurt so bad that all we can do is cry out to God and he answers and overtime in understanding he gives us comfort and heart. Prayers change to his will , so thank you for this reminder that we still have the hope and peace and comfort and that everything on this earth is temporary and one day we will all stand for our king and there will be no longer any confusion or any sadness. Thank you, Marion.
