This is it. The end. Jobbers Only. And it's LIVE! Who will finish the season as champion?
If you're wondering why we stopped doing the weekly episodes there are a few reasons: firstly, they took us so long to make. Many days to script, record and edit to the level we want them. We don't mind putting lots of effort in but unfortunately viewers were declining a lot and we were only getting around $20 per episode via KZbin ads from basically a full-time job for 2 people! Secondly, we cover other games via DiamondLobby and it's coming up to the busy season now, so it's really hard to find the time. Ferg (who edits the videos) has also been having internet issues and it takes him hours to download each week's files and more hours to upload stuff. We didn't want to leave you hanging so this is the best thing we could come up with. Hope you enjoy it and we're super grateful for all the support!

Believe it or not, I find these jobber seasons and the "lore" you give them to be more entertaining than real wrestling. Hell, I'd happily toss up the monthly subscription if you made those each week.

Im only a few minutes into this so forgive me if you cover this later on in the VOD. I love these videos and specifically this series, but I think series type videos don’t do that well in general anymore. An idea could be doing it all in one long form video (im pretty sure you used to do this) im sure that’s a ton more work and effort, but the algorithm may like it better and people might find it easier to watch one video than several. Obviously we don’t need to see everything, so it could be cut down incredibly and be maybe an hour long or so. Or maybe stream the runs, and then turn them into VOD’s later. Just some ideas and I don’t know what your plan or ideas are or if you have any interest in doing this stuff. I’ll be here watching regardless of what you do, so just a couple of ideas. Glad we’re getting the finale in any way at all and keep it up!

Did cover it later in the VOD yeah We scripted a 15,000 word finale episode, only for Ferg to have issues with his internet and he was unable to get the footage from me to be able to edit. With other games coming up that we'll be covering on DiamondLobby, it would mean that the finale would have been delayed by weeks/months and didn't want people to think we had forgotten about this All of our other challenges are highly edited, scripted, longform videos

Have you ever done a playthrough where every match has a loser leaves brand. Possibly ever match on every show, or ple matches only. Might be a hard to win when you lose multiple people in one go, especially if they are high pop.

@WrestlingLobby What are you doing for WWE 2K24's GM Mode with its increased GM count? The GMs of 2K24 are Adam Pearce, Sonya Deville, Tyler Breeze, Xaiver Woods, Mick Foley, Stephanie McMahon, Teddy Long, Custom Superstar, Eric Bischoff, Paul Heyman, Ted Dibiase and William Regal. (Kurt Angle isn't a GM in 2K24). Also, ECW is a selectable brand in 2K24's GM Mode with its Extreme Rules Card and its PowerCard effect is Twice Per Season "Block all opposing brands from using 3 randomly selected champions in next week's show."

@WrestlingLobby In WWE 2K24, you can now assign all of your champions from the starting screen. There are 5 titles available for each brand in WWE 2K24's MyGM Mode: a main Men's Championship, a main Women's Championship, a Mid-Card title, the Men's Tag Team Championship, and the Women's Tag Team Championship. The only exception is ECW which doesn't have a Women division.

MyGM is best when you don’t control the match results because of the random elements and more keeping to the kayfabe of oh who is actually gonna to win a match or not. Also I understand the whole not being able to continue a long series. Probably best to keep series like this to not be as long because of how long they take to make which of course does take more work to make the episodes longer since you have to fit more in.
