Redsun Not Jobby, but I'm pretty sure the answer to that is to get a pair of high quality, ultra sharp side cutters. In fact, I'd say get two and use one of them ONLY for cutting parts off runners. The other one you can use for cutting off safety nubs and whatnot. A damaged/dull side cutter is the easiest way to ruin a new kit.

Hey jobby if you did not know all of the POTP dinobots (except for slash) can combine to form Volcanicus and it is a gestalt combiner which means swoop,snarl,slag, and sludge can either be an arm or a leg. There is an official way to combine them but you can see which combination looks best for display. I have all of them combined into volcanicus on my shelf and he works better as a display piece instead of an actual figure since nothing really tabs in or holds together well.
