Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist Gabe Millman has earned an international audience with his jazz-inspired lofi project Jobii. As long as he can remember, Gabe has always been a musician. His trajectory started at 3 years old when he would bang on pots and pans with wooden spoons to emulate drum sticks. With encouragement from his grandfather, he would eventually begin traditional classical training and go on to play in several bands, orchestras, and ensemble groups throughout his young adult life.
In college, Gabe’s musical journey came into focus. He studied classical percussion, music theory & history, and focused on his major of sound recording technology. Through these years of study, Gabe honed his natural talent and sculpted his acute sense of harmony and melody, an attribute that is synonymous with the Jobii project. After working professionally as a mastering engineer from 2015-2017, Gabe moved to Brooklyn and released his debut solo record “English Breakfast.
