heart-wrenching line. i think it's because you shouldn't be able to fall asleep with something still on your chest. i know i would want to make up before saying goodnight. if you can go straight to sleep with the tension still present, there's not much hope left...

OMG,I thought I was literally the only one who was last last to jump on this band~wagon! Especially embarrassing for me as a musician...Its been a hella crazy past few years, so been out of the loop w/ the whole 'recent' 'pop~culture' scene...I don't mean to even pit Sia in That specific category, especially w/ her being in an unworldly league of her own...It's so utterly refreshing to know that there are still true artists w/ unspeakable talent out there today. Thank the Gods and Goddesss for Sia and all the beauty that surrounds her. She is truly an angel!

I know no one will ever read this, but ive always loved this song, because i have DID, Dissociative identity disorder from trauma. Ive always related to this song, all the conflicting lyrics, ecspeccially the chorus. I have 17 alters, and i can just think of them, arguing, talking it out, remembering one day that they will be found... I even refer to us as we most of the time, not i. Ive appreciated this song ever since ive been diagnosed pretty much :')

I have DID too! I actually didn't know what half the lyrics were saying till I just looked this up, I've loved the song before knowing what it was saying though hehe... I was definately just thinking of it like that though, especially since so many of our littles fight against going to sleep.... Hence why weren't awake at 1am still hehe ;) I feel like "Eleanor, Eleanor" is super relatable w/DID... I also love the sia song "I'm in here" Good to see others, and I wish you and the rest of your system peace, healing, and joy! :)

each time i hear this song (and i listen to it a lot) i imagine it on a scene of an apocalyptic series. At this very moment where the survivors are realising it is actually THE apocalypse, and they really are alone in this. This moment where they're starting to feel depressed because they're realising that no one's gonna come save them but also a tiny bit of hope because they're guessing they must not be the only suvivors and that there must be some kind of escape. Yk this balance between depression and hope type of situation that you see in apocalyptic stories. idk, it makes me wanna write one. love you Sia💞

@@abdulhadi6368don't the this as definitive and try to find your own meaning. For me it means that she is wanting to pause their problems and their fights and continue the next day, when things might have change, in this specific line, she just states she want to go to her dreams, where everything is possble.
