I like how there’s green lighting where the grandmother is so we don’t know it’s a ghost, and when the dad revealed she is dead, we would be shocked to find out Norman was talking his grandmother’s ghost.

0:01 - 1:17 OMG, I used to be scared so silly and weird at this part of the opening sequence because it probably looked too creepy when I was a small child. But not anymore after I later decided to rewatch this film again in 2023 and thought to myself “Despite being a funny kids-flick film I actually think it’s not scary but weirdly funny now.” Thanks for uploading this clip on the internet. I really appreciate it!

i had a dvd of this movie, my sister once watched without permission (because my father at the time believed god is a hero) and my sister watched at a best friend's house, but when she came home, my father said to my sister, "i told you not to do that!" my sister was a kid at the time
