I bought the new mini but the light is not turning on. i have charged for 3 hours and seen lots of tutorial to turn on but its not turning on. from outside no damage is seen though but its not turning on. is there any specific thing to do or i have to order replacement.

@@Foreverbyash the charging has to be done with same cable which came with light, it will not work with any other cable .

The red part of mine is so hard to flap in the placement for charging it’s like it’s really stuck is there any way I can get it down easy it came that way when I got it in the mail I don’t know why maybe because it’s new idk

I"m trying to find out the limitations of the charging. I can't simply plug it in, and turn it on. what am I missing? does it require the newer USB-C more powerful charger? can I use any usb-C cable with any iPhone / usb wall wart? how do you know it's charged? how do you know it's charging? what does the red light mean? am I really this stupid that I can't plug it in and turn it on?

I wish to use the flash option (via the app) with a Bluetooth remote connected to iphone. I’ve bought 2 x beamo minis with hope of doing this. Sadly the remote option just operates the volume, rather than the iPhone camera trigger. Is there a way to make the remote take the photo with flash. Essentially I just need to flash via Bluetooth remote. Please help, many thanks

The JOBY app for this light is a joke. The manual too. I cannot find any way to connect with the light once the app is open. If I click on help or manual in the app, I just land on the general homepage of Joby. What is this!?!

How do you link Joby Beamo to speedlight on camera? I can trigger beams flash manually but it doesn't pick up the flash from my camera.

Hey Tim, these lights are built like balls of steel. Precision engineered for water shots and loaded for bear when it comes to power. Stoked when you mentioned the magnetic options, did not know that. Downloaded the App and boom. If you haven't used it. It sucks. It sucks more than anything has ever sucked.

Bought one of these mostly off the back of this video. Bought direct from Joby. However it wont hold charge for more than a few days. A week at most. Contacted Joby via facebook and was asked to fill out a form. Did that, got an automated email reply from vitec imaging solutions stating my "ticket number" and a link to check what's happening. 200 hours ie over a week later (shown on the ticket) and still awaiting a reply. Just marked as "in handling". Customer service terrible. What's happening please?

On my second one. Within 2-3 uses and charges over 2 weeks they each completely died and wont hold a charge. This one will be going back to B&H as well.

I have a pair and the Bluetooth is not comparable with my fold 4 Samsung, I have wrote to them and I was I formed a up date was coming g out for the android but it has not that was around 6 month back. If they can't back up their product then ,they not worth buying.
