Actually the sound quality was quite good, wind noise, with micro muff on more than acceptable, distance and even turning around absolutely fine, no hiss that I could hear, I listened with monitoring headphones. QUESTION: What happens when you use two mic's at the same time do they go Channel 1 to Left and Channel 2 to Right, or are they just mixed into one combined L/R mono? Would be ideal for doing an interview and you could even have, at least with my Canon XA70, an extra background audio channel into the XLR(s) such as a camera mounted shot-gun mic' or someone could be operating the shotgun microphone as a back up. Must admit the lavellier connected sounded a bit harsh to my ears, maybe a better quality one would improve the audio frequency range. As for the colour, a bit cheap looking, but I can easily mask that with some removable vinyl cut specifically to mask out the bright red and Joby logo, personalise for my channel even! Just to say I thought your review was very fair and balanced, I saw an American guy, I figure he had his gain up too high, as it was clearly distorted on the tennis court. I would like to hear two people speaking on two microphones. You suggested you can add further transmitters, how many is that up to? I guess you'd get more audio in, what I'm guessing is a mono mix. But, if you've got 3+ people being interviewed basically you'd mic them all up and if need be add an extra mobile/directional mic.
